Sausage came into care on the 13th September 2011 and by the end of the day Mrs PFT had lined up an adoption!! Quickest ever adoption. Although Sausage had to stay at Chateau PFT until November to make him all better……..there was a home and a Mummy, Alison, waiting for him. Alison had pined for a PFT Senior for some time and had just missed out on the lovable Fudge, so she was a perfect match for Sausage and became PFT’s first Sanctuary Mummy.
And so on the 5th November 2011 “The Sausage Man” departed from Chateau PFT and went to live with his new Mummy Alison. Sausage lived with his wonderful Mummy for just over two years, until he was given his wings on the 2nd January 2014, with Alison being devastated to have lost her ‘crusty cranky companion’, “The Snagga Man”.
