After a challenging few days in August where I had to farewell a little dog, attend to sick dogs, endure a cancer scare with one of my own dogs, and deal with some behind-the-scene financial issues that could affect the charity’s future, I began to feel that everything was stacking up against me. This is “rescue” in all its glory. Fortunately, I have some wonderful adopters and PFT stalkers who genuinely care about the workload PFT takes on and the emotional toll it takes. James, Trish and Lyn – thank you for the beautiful gifts which helped me through these times.
