In October four doggies came into care at PFT: Puggles, Willy Wonka, Itty Bitty and Papa Smurf.
“Puggles” – endured a five hour marathon dental to remove all the roots underneath the gum line which would have been giving her immense pain every day. She is now in her new home and living the dream. “Willy Wonka” – has gone for some R&R to the Farm with Foster Mummy Carol, and has an adoption pending. “Itty Bitty” – is approximately 12++ years old, a delightful, silent, teeny tiny darling who seems very taken with the male humans. “Papa Smurf” – 15 years old and surrendered to the pound by his owner who decided he was deaf, blind and had dementia, and that he was better off being given his wings. PFT rescued him and has found he is neither deaf, nor blind, and has zero dementia and has a new fantastic life ahead of him.
