Baby Binkie – was not the fairy tale ending. He only came into PFT’s care because two other rescue groups had let him down and not collected him from the pound. He was timid, fearful and territorial. But he loved his humans and was a good boy in care. He went to live with a young couple in Brisbane. He managed to get out through the front door and ran off causing a massive search for four months for him. Eventually he was found and unable to be returned to the young couple as they’d moved into a non pet friendly apartment. Baby Binkie was given to a family member who had provided the back-up at the beginning of the adoption. Sadly, after a few months in his new home, Baby Binkie got into a dog fight in the street with an off-leash dog and didn’t make it.
