While PFT was in Asia recently we met a humble market holder who told us of her plight, sneaking out at 12am to feed the street dogs, collecting abandoned litters of puppies, and using Facebook to find suitable loving homes. Amazingly, $1,010 was raised for this woman’s charity overnight by the PFT Facebook village – which will most likely pay for food for 30 dogs per night over a 12-18 month period, as well as life-saving surgery for a couple of them. Sometimes ‘ordinary’ people can make the most extraordinary difference!
